Patna: At least four police personnel, including the Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), was injured in the violence that erupted after the chosen murder of Mukhiya was elected in Faridpur Village under the Janipur Police Station in Patna on Tuesday.
Mukhiya, Neeraj Kumar aka Sudhir Kumar (36), was shot dead by two criminals who were transmitted by a motorcycle in front of his house at around 9:30 a.m.

This is the third incident of the killing of chosen Panchayat representatives in the district in the last 72 hours.
The police said the population of the Irat Village blocked Jalan Khagaul-Naubatpur with the body.
The blockade continues until late at night.
City SP (West) Ashok Mishra and other senior officers rushed to the place to calm the population of the Irat Village, but it didn’t work.
At least four police personnel, including breast milk Bharat Bhushan Kumar, was injured when the locals attacked them to protest Neeraj’s murder.
Sho of Janipur Police Station Uttam Kumar said breast milk received a severe head injury and was rushed to a local hospital.
“Locals began throwing stones targeting police personnel who went to the village to be investigated,” Sho added.
