Patna: Five young men were arrested in a drunk state of the Gardnibagh police station on Patna Sunday night.
The Gardanibagh police station responsible for Arun Kumar said the police had received information that a liquor party was detained in a flat in the Rajputana area.
“We stormed the flat and confiscated six bottles of liquor.
Medical examinations confirmed that young people had consumed alcohol,” he said.
The body was found: a young man found hanging from a tree at the registration center of the district-cum-counseling near Mithauli in Jagatpur Panchayat under the Rahika police station in Madhubani district on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Shatrughan Yadav (25), son of Baidyanath Yadav from Rahika Gidh Teach.
The police have confiscated cellphones and bicycle keys from the deceased’s pocket.
According to the source of the police, the young man went to the doctor on Sunday for his wife’s care.
“He had gone to his in-laws’ house on Sunday, but did not return home at night,” said Sho Arun Kumar.
