Patna Airport: There is no late flight operation from today

Patna: With winter onset, late night flights will be suspended at Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport from Wednesday.
This includes Indigo flights from Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad to Patna.
According to sources, Delhi-Patna flights arrived at the city airport at 12:50 a.m.
on Tuesday night and left at 1.30 in the morning while Bengaluru-Patna flights landed at the airport at 1.35 in the morning and left at 2.05 in the morning.
Hyderabad-Patna flights, on the other hand, reached the city at 1 morning and left at 1:40 a.m.
The Indian Airport Authority recently held a preliminary meeting to discuss the settings to be made at Patna Airport to handle the problem of flight delays due to misty weather during the winter during the winter.
Deputy Agung General Manager (Air Traffic Management), Santosh Kumar, told reporters on Tuesday that the last meeting would be held with all stakeholders in the next few days where problems such as fog formation, delay measures will be discussed.

However, their timings have been changed based on the winter schedule because the city tends to experience foggy conditions in the next few days.” Airport Patna handles 50- 56 flights every day, including 26 Indigo, 13 Spicejet, Nine Goair, seven Air India and two Vistara.
The daily passenger footfall has also reached 14,000-15,000.
14,249 leaflets arrived at and left the airport on Monday.
