Patna: Colleges under the University of Patna (PU) and Patliputra University (PPU) are still struggling to fill empty seats in a three-year course in the fields of art, science, and trade streams both under conventional mode and self-financing.
According to sources, seats approved in language courses and several empty self-financing programs in most institutions.
Although more than 700 of 4,291 empty seats in PU colleges, as many as 77,000 seats 1.22 lakh at PPU colleges have not been filled.

Panitaris PPU Jitendra Kumar told this reporter that the University Admission Portal would remain open from Thursday to Monday.
“Only candidates, who registered earlier and could not claim because some differences or disappearance of seats in the desired institutions in the last two rounds, will be eligible to send fresh online applications.
The third merit list will be released on October 27 and the receipt process Will continue until October 30.
After that the receipt of the place will begin in different colleges from November 1, “added the registrar.
On the other hand, the perpetrators of the College PU, at the meeting held here on Thursday, decided to start counseling and reception in a wise place in the remaining place in different courses from Tuesday.
Meanwhile, PU on Thursday invites an online application to enter all postgraduate self-financing courses.
The last date for application submission by candidates who qualified is November 20.
Deputy Chancellor PU Girish Kumar Chaudhary said that entering all these courses would be made on the basis of the sign and candidate that appeared could also apply for a furnace before finalizing the selection.
“The application to enter the Conventional PG course in Arts, Science, and the flow of trade will also be invited shortly after the publication of the July test results.
The results of the last year’s graduation test will be published in a week,” added VC.
