Patna: Overall 10 more people were tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday, taking the state counting to 7.25,718.
Of these, four were registered in Patna and each in Bhojpur, Nalanda, Nawada, Gopalganj, Katihar, and Madhepura.
In the last 24 hours, 24 patients were also recovered from this disease.
With this, the total number of patients restored rose to 7.15,979.
In addition, the number of active cases fell to 86 on Wednesday starting 100 on Tuesday.
As many as 13 districts in Bihar have zero active cases.
These include Arwal, Aurangabad, Banka, Buxar, Jamui, Jehanabad, Kaiur, Lakhisarai, Madhubani, Munger, West Champaran, Sheikhpura, and Siwan.
According to sources, there is no hospital in the state that reported Covid’s related deaths for the fifth day in a row.
While a Covid patient underwent treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences-Patna on Wednesday, two new patients were accepted at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital.
Meanwhile, 1.51,250 covid vaccine doses were given on Wednesday.
More than 3.84 crore doses have been given to beneficiaries in the state so far.
