Patna DM Forms 87 Team for Teen Vaccination

Patna: Patna District Magistrate (DM) Chandrashekhar Singh issued instructions on Saturday for adolescent vaccinations which were widely anticipated aged 15 to 18 years, as well as steps to stop the spread of Covid-19 infection.
During the meeting with officials, the district judge stated that in addition to ordering slots, registration facilities in place for teenagers immunization with Covaxin shots will be available.
DM formed 87 teams, 53 of them will be assigned to rural schools and 20 to urban schools.
In addition, 14 teams will be used in government and private medical colleges, as well as vaccination centers operating 24 hours a day.
There are 720 secondary schools in Patna District, with a total registration of 4.93 lakh children who are eligible for vaccination.
DM asked the district education officer to hold a meeting with government and private schools and direct all institutions to regulate meetings of parents to ensure that the Covid vaccination drive was successful.
Singh said, “Because Covid infection was found in a way that was scattered than in certain locations, no need to declare the detention zone at the time.
However, the administration monitors the scenario in the district and will take all the necessary steps to stop the spread of the virus.” He suggested people – People do not delay and seek medical attention immediately if they experience fever, dry cough, or symptoms such as headaches.
According to sources, the administration has established telemedicine facilities (6287590551 and 6287590552) and the control room (0612-2219090 and 2219033) to help people in need.
In addition, a large mask inspection drive was launched, where district judges formed 10 teams.
While three teams traveled on the bus, autorickshaw, and other vehicles, two teams conducted an examination to customers and dealers in stores.
The remaining teams do drives exclusively in crowded areas such as vegetable and fruit markets.
Chandrashekhar stated, “Responding to increased Covid infection trends, a total of 289 beds have been prepared for isolation and patient care.
There are 112 beds in the Patliputra Sports Complex, 152 in Ashoka Hotel, and 25 in Khanqah Mujibia.
After ‘Prakash Parv’, 200 Extra beds will be available at Kangan Ghat.
