Patna: With many people avoiding going out on the market and shops, home delivery of various items has been taken in the city again.
Men ship merchandise, restaurant owners, and other door delivery service providers began preparing to overcome the increasing number of orders.
“We watched Spurt in an online order for the past two weeks because of the massive leap in the number of Covid cases in the city.
Customers prefer to buy food online for fear of being infected with a virus,” Sharique Ahmed said, which has a restaurant in Anisabad.
The shop owners and merchants also asked for delivery boys to follow the corresponding behavior of Covid.
“We have distributed masks and sanitisers between shipment boys,” Sharique said.
After a short break from the rush suddenly last year, many e-delivery entities, food aggregators and restaurant owners also began hiring new people to send items because they witnessed a surge in order because of Covid Curbs.
Shweta Kumari, a resident of Boring Road, said, “I started ordering online and receiving home delivery because it comes out will be at risk for Covid time.” Meanwhile, the delivery of boys, the braveness of all opportunities to serve people, live in constant fear because of the third wave of pandemic.
During the first wave and both pandemics too, they had to deal with long working hours and fear of Covid’s contract.
“We face a difficult situation again,” said Raju Kumar, a courtship.
