Patna: Entrepreneurs expect good sales to Dhanteras

Patna: Amid a business slowdown due to Covid-19 pandemic, retailers and brand showrooms in the city of sunbathing in the upcoming Dhanteras, which usually accounts for 25-35% of their annual sales.
Jewelry showrooms, electronic stores and electricity and car dealers do not leave stone missed to seduce customers by giving discounts and gifts that are guaranteed for the purchase of goods.
Items worth Estimated RS 10 Crore have been booked by customers at 22 showrooms from Bihar-based electronic retailers on Patna.
The director of his chairman-cum-managing, Yashovardhan Sinha, told this newspaper that they gave gifts guaranteed on every purchase made by the customer.
Those who make a purchase of 10,000 Rs or more will get a lucky coupon.
“Lucky lottery winners will get one flat, 101 cars, 751 motorbikes and other gifts.
Winners will be announced on December 31,” Sinha said.
A jewelry showroom near Boring Road Crossing has announced several interesting schemes for customers on the occasion of Dhanteras.
The manager Avinash Kumar said the company has introduced the best bridal jewelry design on the market season of this celebration and people will also get gold coins guaranteed as a gift on every purchase of a stud jewelry or diamond worth RS50,000 or more.
Shekhar Kesri, chief executive of other jewelry exhibitions near DAK Bungalow Crossing said a 50% discount was being given to strengthening gold jewelry costs and up to 25% of diamonds.
“If a customer makes payment with SBI cards, he will get a 5% cashback.
We also introduce a new range of 24 carat gold pure,” he said.
Sumit Kumar, executive sales from the SUV showroom at the Road Exhibition, said the company provides a gift voucher, free gifts to those pre-ordered.
“200 car bookings have been made for Dhanteras,” he added.
