Patna: ESIC (Employee State Insurance Company) Medical College will open in Bihta in Patna District from the upcoming academic session.
This was announced by the Ministry of Labor United States and work, Bhupendra Yadav, during a visit to the ESIC Hospital to assess preparation and inaugurated the RT-PCR test center equipped with the latest technology.
Yadav described the medical universities proposed as a gift for Bihar, stating that it would significantly benefit the people in the Magadh and Shahabad areas.

Sanjay Jaisawal, President of BIHAR BJP, and Jibesh Kumar, Minister of Labor Resources, also present on that occasion.
Then, Jibesh told this reporter that the demand had been made for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the new ESIC medical college established.
At present, Esic Hospital has 330 beds and the number of patients who seek treatment from Patna and neighboring countries increases month by month.
“When the Union Minister has directed that faculty members and permanent staff, including paramedics, appointed in two months, we have started the process of completing the faculty strength needed for new medical smooth operations in the upcoming academic session,” Jibesh said, added that 30 seats In the MBBS course will be provided for worker children.
Dr.
Shoumya Chakravarti, the Dean of Hospital Esic, stated that this facility currently has 10 modular operation cinemas as an average of 1,000 to 1,200 patients visiting the outpatient department every day.
“The highest number of OPD patients is seen in one day is 1,500.
During the peak of the pandemic in Bihar, this hospital also functions as a special Covid facility.
It also has a tuberculosis center, neurosurgery, and other surgery specialties,” he added.
