Patna: Irked for the failure of the Road Construction Department (RCD) in providing a period of time to make the Bhagalpur-Vikramshila part of the NH-80 (Munger-Mirzachowki Highway), the division bench from the Patna High Court on Monday asked the highest official to complete in 24 Hours, details of the utilization of RS12 Crore provided by the Indian National Highway Authority to RCD for highway maintenance.
The division bench from the chairman of Judge Sanjay Karol and Justice S Kumar heard a collection of pils.
Additional advocates General Anjani Kumar proposed that the road had been built and repaired several times and the only drug was to make the road cemented.
HC was given a week to provide details and post this problem for Tuesday.
Kumar justice verbally observes that it takes almost two hours to cover a distance of 20-25 km.
“The road is full of holes.
Why does the government do not think in a broader perspective.
Like Bodh style, Vikramshila is also a world heritage site.
How will tourism develop if the road to Vikramshila is not motorized?” He observed.
