PATNA: The wellness experts’ forecast that the next wave of Covid-19 would reach the nation in 6-8 months has motivated hospitals from the nation gear up to battle the outbreak by updating infrastructure.
Dr Nigam Prakash Narain, former leader of paediatrics department in Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), stated the forecast of premature birth of third tide was predicated on irresponsible behavior of their taxpayers following easing of constraints.

Dr Mukul Kumar Singh, nodal officer for Covid-19 in NMCH-P, said that the hospital has made all preparations to its next wave.
“The hospital’s liquid oxygen of 3,000 cubic litre each day capacity will be prepared in following 14-15 days,” he explained.
The state health department had asked the Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Limited to create fast supply of gear necessary for NICU, PICU and SNCU (ailing toddlers care unit) in various medical hospitals and faculty along with sadar hospitals.
