Patna: Many hopes to revive business as ‘lagan’ season begins

Patna: With relaxation in a covid-induced limit, the bride and groom hopes to tie the knot during the ‘laagan’ season in November and December.

“Sherwani is stylish Rajwada and collared-kurta with demand underwear between the groom,” he said.
The owner of another garment shop at King Bazaar Amit Choudhary has imported all the wedding dresses from Kolkata and Delhi.
“I have a dress that is suitable for the bride and even for their parents,” Choudhary said.
Not only the golden jewelry is in demand but artificially sells like hot cakes.
Dharmendra Kumar, a shop seller in Market Churi said, he had various earrings, bracelets and gold-plated necklaces.
“There is a lot of imitation jewelry madness because they offer a variety of designs and patterns,” he said.
In addition, a beauty home also makes business fast because the bride wants to be menglam-up for their day-d.
The beauty salon manager at Frazer Road Soni Singh said that he had to hire more stylists because of the large number of bookings for pre-bridal and bridal make-up.
“I charge an additional fee of Rs 3,000 if the groom and the bride ask for their make-up to be finished in the venue,” he said.
