Meanwhile, after the Asian Development Bank, the European Bank also showed interest in providing funds for the construction of the Patna Metro Rail project.
The company recently sent a proposal to expand financial support more than RS8,000 Crore for the project.
A PMRC official said the country had signed the MoU with JICA for the construction of both corridors.
“We have told the ABD delegates to support further extensions of the Metro Patna network.
If JICA is increasingly delaying a loan, the state government has the option to get funds,” the official said.
