Patna Metro: underground construction work to start in February

Patna: Civil work in twin tunnels, six underground stations and networks in corridor II and guava construction, seven high stations on corridor I from Pana Metro Rail Project will soon begin.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC), a technical consultant for Patna Metro Rail Corporation (PMRC), issued an acceptance letter to both companies on December 29.
The work on the network and the station is likely to begin in February 2022 because PMRC can obtain loans from the Japanese International Corporation Agency (JICA) in January-end.
Six 7.9-km-long underground stations, underground roads and twin tunnels, from Akashvani to Rajendra Nagar, will be built by utilizing RS1,989 Crore.
The project is given to L & T construction University, PMCH, Gandhi Maidan and Akashvani.
Other companies, YFC – MCL JV, must design and build the elevation of Viaduct, increased ramps in Mithapur and Patliputra and seven stations.
These high stations are scheduled in Danapur, Saguna Mor, RPS Mor, Patliputra, Ramkrishna Nagar and Jaganpura in Corridor I.
Project 7.39 km-km is the cost of RS553 Crore.
My corridor will have a network of 17.9 km from Danapur to Khemnenichack through Meetethapur, where 10.5km stretch will be underground.
PMRC plans to take work in many locations simultaneously, by allocating work to different companies to avoid delays.
It wants to start the first operation in the priority corridor between Malahi Pakri and the Patliputra Bus Stand.
These include six stations in Malahi Pusti, Khemnichichak (interchangeable stations), Bhootnath Road, Zero Mile and Patliputra Bus Stand.
According to officials, 112 pillars have been established from Malahi Pusti to Bhootnath Road while the pillar 210 will have absolutely developed for the elevated network for corridor II.
Stacking work also starts from zero miles to ISBT.
For Patna ISBT Metro Depot and ISBT Station, the process will acquire 76 hectares of land in Ranipur and Pahadi.
The state has provided Rs 1,000 Crore to the administrative district of Patna for land acquisition.
The estimated cost of the Metro Patna project is Rs 13,365.77 Crore (not including land acquisition fees, which will be borne by the state government).
