Patna: In the midst of the third wave of Covid pandemic, the state government has decided to display the number of Tableaux which is limited to the 73rd function of the Republic Day which will be held at Gandhi Maidan on January 26.
The decision at this meeting was taken at a recent meeting of the cabinet secretariat department.
About 10 departments will showcase their Tableaux which highlights the campaign of the government’s social reform, prohibition, ‘Jal Jeevan Hariyali’, ‘During Nischay’ and women’s empowerment.
According to an official, approval of the Tablo display, the topic, name and appointment of Nodal officers will be sent to the earliest department.
All Covid guidelines will be followed at the R-Day parade, the official was added.
“The exercise for the R-Day parade will begin on January 11.
The review meeting will be held on Tuesday with officials concerned for the R-Day celebration.
Like the previous year, there will be no cultural events this time and children will not participate In the parade, “said Commissioner of Patna Kumar Ravi Division.
Some contingents will participate in the parade, including the Central Reserve Police, Sashastra Seema Bal, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Forces, District Armed Forces, BMP, Housekeepers, Army and Fire Brigades.
The major sergeant will act as a nodulosis officer.
