Patna: The Law Department has written a letter to the Ministry of Health who urged him to establish special camps in the High Court and subordinate court for vaccination lawyers throughout the state.
The letter was written by the Secretary of the Choudhary PC Law Department in the background of several lawyer associations that constantly demanded vaccination for them.
Chairman of the State Bar Bihar Ramakant Sharma said there were around 1.5 Lakh lawyers registered in the state and 1.25 lakh of them practicing in the High Court and in the subordinate court.
“Once all lawyers are vaccinated, they will be protected from the third wave.
It will be very helpful in restarting the physical function of the court, which runs in virtual mode,” he said.
“Two weeks ago, I wrote to the state government to allocate RS50 Crore for lawyers in the state to help them financially.
Most of us produce every day.
This pandemic greatly affects our brotherhood, especially the young lawyer,” Sharma said.
