Patna: Ramkrishna Nagar Police Station Sho Rajeshwar Prasad has been suspended by IG (Central Range) Sanjay Singh on Saturday for dereltioning assignments and behaviors that are not right with a prepare hotel where two police officers and Havildar are arrested, Patna SSP Upendendra Kumar.

Jahangir Alam Khan replaces Prasad as a new sho on Sunday.
“I recommended the suspension of Prasad after an investigation of his overall behavior, especially after Havildar and two policemen extorted RS4,000 from a Hoteler,” SSP said, adding several complaints that were suspended against him.
Havildar Umesh Paswan and Constable Sanjeev Thakur and Sanjeev Ram were arrested on June 21 for allegedly extorting RS4,000 from Hotelier Abhishek Kumar and demanded RS10,000 monthly as protection money from him.
The source said Kumar was a close relative of the senior bureaucrat.
Kumar called the SSP after a fight at his hotel at Akshay Nagar on June 18.
The SSP directed the Prasad to look into this problem but he sent Havildar and the police as he was in court.
