Patna: Peeping more points in Swachh Survekshan 2022, Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to offer a vehicle parking space for free to those who have the application ‘Swachhata’ on their cellphones.
The proposal in this case was continued at the 55th Empower Committee meeting from the Civic Agency here on Friday.
The Civic body will allow the population to park their vehicles without paying any fees on 36 parking spaces only if they show the central application on their cellphones and their feedback for a special drive.
“This initiative will encourage people to download cellular applications.
Citizen feedback will also increase the city rank,” said Mayor Patna Sahu.
Swachh Survekshan Survey Awards 1,800 Marks for Voice Residents (Feedback, Engagement, Experience, Swachhata and Innovation applications).
In this category, PMC secured 1,341 grades last year.
In addition, the Civic Agency will also conduct surveys for the ranking of educational institutions, hotels, hospitals, markets, restaurants and housing communities about cleanliness.
The remaining committee members who were empowered from the Civic body also approved the transfer of the land to the Urban and Housing Development Department for the implementation of the Patna Metro Rail project.
PMC has agreed to provide 2,943sqm land in Mithapur for the Metro network to Udhd.
