Patna: Students of the University of Patna (PU) from the last two academic sessions (2019-21 and 2020-22) will complete their compulsory school internship through the teaching media simulated from their respective institutions.
The decision for this effect was taken at the meeting of the Public Education Faculty held here on Sunday under the faculty presidents Dean Lalit Kumar.
Overcoming meetings, the Principal of Patna Training College Patna Ashutosh Kumar said that all state schools were closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and with existing situations, it was impossible for students to take school internships for four months.
In face-to-face mode.
But, according to the provisions of the National Teacher Education Council (NCTE), there are no students who can conduct bed checks without completing a compulsory school internship.
He further showed that students of PU’s bed had interned in face-to-face mode for one month just before the closing of the college after the imposition of locking across the state.
It was unanimously decided in a meeting that an intern for the remaining three-month period must be done through the teaching media that was simulated from their own institutions so that they could appear on the University exam.
The meeting revealed his concern for the recent action of Bihar University (BraBu) in giving 12,000 students to fill out their bed inspection forms without completing their compulsory school internships.
The fate of all these students hangs in balance, faculty observing.
The prominence among those who attended the meeting included the Head of the Department of Education Brabuh A R Khan, the Principal of GB Teacher College in Darbhanga Sanjeev Kumar, Head of the Ministry of Education Nalanda Biharsharif Dhruv Kumar and Women’s Teacher Ranchi Sachin Kumar.
