Patna: On Monday, the city schools continued the physical class after the suspension throughout the month due to the previous Covid-19 case surge in January.
Many school children wear uniforms, wear face masks, and bring backpacks back to their campus.
Parents also visit several schools to take and lower their children.
The school follows the Covid Safety Protocol, which includes entry and outgoing staggering.
According to the state government guidelines, the school has called 50% of students in class I to VIII and 100% of students in class IX to XII.
Mary Alphonssa, Principal Don Bosco Academy, told TII that excitement returning to school was seen among children.
“All the children’s temperatures were taken before they entered the school campus.
By remembering safety, they were asked to have their lunch at their table in the classroom,” he explained, noting that the primary school, middle school and senior section of the school all had a level of attendance 55 up to 70%.
At St Xavier High School, almost 60% of attendance is recorded in the primary class and around 90% in higher classes.
“I anticipate the presence will return to normal within a week,” said the main word Christu Savarirajan SJ said, adding that the final exam will be held at the end of February.
