Patna: the number of dengue fever patients in HOSPS across 50-marks

Patna: The number of dengue patients treated in different government hospitals, including the primary health center, in Patna passed 50-mark on Wednesday.
Civil Surgeon Patna, Dr.
Vibha Kumari, told this reporter that the number tended to increase when private hospitals had not sent data related to dengue fever.
“We have circulated messages to all private hospitals asking them to make us updated,” he added.
According to sources, at all four patients, including two children, suffering from dengue fever was accepted at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) on Wednesday.
The hospital supervisor, Dr.
Binod Kumar Singh, said, “Some people with symptoms of dengue fever consulted with our doctor.
While four are accepted here, others are given drugs for proper care.” Dr.
Binod also claimed that pneumonia cases were also claimed has decreased.
Instead, no dengue fever patients were treated at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) on Wednesday.
“Of the 80 samples, tested for dengue fever at the hospital on Wednesday, seven positives.
While six cases come from other districts, one from Patna,” said Dr.
Singh, Head of the Department of Microbiology at PMCH.
He added, “from 500 samples, which was tested by the department in the last two months, 57 positive.” In addition, four new dengue fever patients were also accepted at the Indian Medical Sciences Institute (AIIMS-P) on Wednesday.
Recognizing a large increase in Dengue cases, Dr.
Ravi Kirti, who was the head of the Department of Medicine in the hospital, said, “At least three to four dengue fever patients with symptoms such as high fever, headaches, vomiting, and diarrhea consulting doctors from AIIMS -P every week.
“Doctors advise people to keep their environment clean and prevent mosquito breeding.
