Patna to Receive 10 Contemporary bus stops two Weeks

PATNA: Totally 10 places in town will probably have contemporary bus stops known as Intermediate Public Transport (IPT).
Being assembled by the Patna Smart City Limited (PSCL) in a price of Rs 2.5 crore, they’ll be employed by autos, e-rickshaws, buses and other public cars.
With amenities such as comfy seats, appropriate lighting, dustbins, along with electronic display boards for advertisements and timings, the bus stops may develop close to the GPO roundabout, Chiraiyatand Pul (pillar 47), Bihar Intermediate Education Council (gates 1 and 2), Indira Gandhi Planetarium, Gardiner Road Hospital, Bans Ghat, Shahid Peer Ali Khan Park, Gandhi Maidan (gate 5) along with Jamal Road.
The managing director of this PSCL, Himanshu Sharma, who’s also the commissioner of the Patna Municipal Corporation, informed this reporter on Saturday the 10 bus stops will be prepared by August.
“Many car, bus and also e-rickshaw drivers quit their vehicles on the street, disturbing the visitors.
This also contributes to injuries,” Sharma said, adding that passengers would have the ability to sit down and await vehicles in the bus stops.
In addition, he pointed out that both Wi-Fi and closed-circuit tv cameras are introduced in the bus stops at future.
