Patna: Traders who suffer losses during locking ending alive

Patna: A businessman, Ranjeet Singh Khanuja (52), allegedly committed suicide in his office in Sai Carnation apartment near Bahadurpur flyover under the Patna Nagar police station on Saturday night.
Sho Patrakar Nagar Police Station ManoRanjan Bharti said Khanuja was a famous businessman Patna and he had several business companies.
“He hung himself from a ceiling fan using a sheet of cloth,” he said, adding to the businessman to stay at Khanuja House at T Ghosh Lane near Govind Mitra Road.
“Khanuja’s son found him hanging in the office and told the police.
Family members have told the police that Khanuja suffered a big loss in business since last year due to Covid-19 pandemic.
He used to be depressed because of the loss,” he said, adding the Khanuja family to override the game rotten.
The young man was shot dead on Disputeone Vivek Sharma (19), a student title first year from a college in Paliganj, was shot dead near his house in Bapu Nagar in North Mandiri under the Buddhist police station on Sunday night.
The young man lived there in rented accommodation with his parents.
Senior police officers, including DSP (Law and order) Sanjay Kumar rushed to the place.
Patna SSP Upendra Kumar Sharma said the murder seemed to be a fallout of a small dispute that took place while playing cricket at Gandhi Maidan on October 11 on October 11.
