Patnaites asked the authority to intensify the anti-larval op

Patna: In the midst of the increase in cases of dengue fever, Patnaite demanded the authorities concerned to improve anti-larval and fumigation operations in the city.
A total of 90 cases, most of which are from Patna City, CancerBagh, Pirbahore, Bakerganj, Transport Nagar, and Patliputra, have been reported here so far.
Many residents told this reporter that water stagnation in many areas leads to diseases transmitted through vectors.
They also accused that the number of fogging can be ignored.
Subodh Goel, a rental accountant and a resident of Bandicha, said he had not seen a vehicle fogging for almost a month.
“Fogging must be done on time after a short interval to keep the area clean.
The Civic body must take precautionary measures to control mosquito breeding, especially after rainfall,” he added.
“The Ministry of Health and the body of the Civic said that Fogging had been intensified in various regions, but I have not seen it,” Pallavi Asmita claims, citizens of Kadamkuan.
Swapnil, a resident of Patliputra Colony, showed, “We keep the doors and windows closed as a precaution.
The number of mosquitoes has increased in my area.
Therefore, fogging and anti-larvae operations must be done once a week in each region especially after the rainy season.” Civil Patna Dr.
Vibha Surgeon Kumari Singh said cases of dengue fever began to increase after the rainy season.
Rakesh Kumar Singh, Executive Officer of Circle BankiPore, claimed that they discussed 12 wards with the basis of the grill.
“We strive to cover as much as possible a week area.
We also respond to the complaints we received from the residents,” he told this newspaper.
Executive officers from CancerBagh Circle, S Basad, said, anti-larval operations are regular exercise in places close to open channels.
“Bleaching powder has been sprayed in an area where there is stagnant water.
Fumigation is done on a graster,” he said.
