Nagpur: Head of State Congress Nana Patole slams BJP to ‘politicize’ the replacement of the name Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award after a big Dhyan Chand, said it showed the ‘mental’ party.
Speaking to reporters on his arrival at Nagpur Airport, Patole said, “BJP constantly provides vocal political evidence.
We have seen how the name Sardar Patel is expelled from the stadium and renamed after PM Narendra Modi.
BJP is actually afraid of the name Gandhi, that’s why They tried to change the name of the thing.
“Patole said things like that would not succeed because his party had a strong inheritance.
“It is impossible to remove the Congress Party.
It’s already around for years and presence in every village in this country.
Rajiv Gandhi contributed so much for the development of the country and no one can eliminate credit for it.” Patole said.
He said the party state unit now worked to celebrate the day of the Congress Foundation in December with a large rally.
Patole said, “Our leader Sonia and Rahul Gandhi will handle workers in Shivaji Park.
