New Delhi: In the midst of an intra-party fight in Punjab, nine of the 11 members of the Congress of the Congress met at the residence of Parth Bajwa on Sunday and learned to discuss the current political situation.
The meeting took place in the midst of an indication that Navjot Singh Sidhu who had experienced a fighting battle with the chairman of Minister Amarinder Singh could be made as head of the party’s state unit.
Parliamentarians, however, said the meeting was held to discuss the problems that would be raised in the Monsun Parliament session starting Monday.
Party President Sonia Gandhi also held a meeting of party parliamentarians at night.
There was a series of meetings in Chandigarh and elsewhere in Punjab, held by Singh and Sidhu separately, to develop a last minute strategy ahead of the party’s revamp.
Singh has set several conditions before the party’s leadership for the height of Sidhu as the Head of the State Unit, which includes the Sidhu Tender for Public Apology for the attack on it.
“Every decision taken by the President of the Party Sonia Gandhi will be accepted by all,” Bajwa told reporters when asked about the appointment of the Head of the New Pradesh Congress Committee.
He said the meeting was held considering the upcoming parliamentary session and to discuss the problems that would be raised.
Bajwa said there was no factionalism at the Punjab Congress and leadership had said that the election would be fought under the leadership of the Minister of Chief.
He said whoever the chairman of the new PCC, he will equip the Minister of Chief to ensure the victory of the Congress Party in the next assembly election in Punjab.
Bajwa also threw his hat above the ring, and he had held a series of meetings.
This includes one with the midst of the chairman of the last night, and some in the party said that if Sikh JAT will be made by PCC head, then why did Bajwa, who had become the former president of the Punjab Congress.

The MPS party present at the meeting at Bajwa’s residence was Preneet Kaur, Shamsher Singh Dullo, Ravneet Singh Bittu, Gurjit Singh Aujla, Jasbir Singh Gill, Chaudhary Santokh Singh and Mohammed Sadique, besides Tewari and Bajwa.
