Chandigarh: Head of the Punjab Election (CEO) Karuna Raju said on Tuesday that the EC had banned the polls out between February 10 and March 7 in connection with the Assembly poll.
Under the representation of the People Law, 1951, polls cannot be done and published through print and electronic media or dissemination in other ways starting from February 10 to 7am to March 7 at 6:30 a.m., the CEO said.
He said any appearance included the results of each poll that was prohibited.
