PB with high warning after a tiffin bomb found in Amritsar

Chandigarh: Towards independence day, Punjab police have honed in the state.

High warning has been heard throughout the country, said DGP Gupta, while warning residents to remain vigilant and notify the police if they find something suspicious, abandoned or not claimed anywhere, including on the train, bus, and in the restaurant.
DGP said briefing to the Chairman of Captain Minister Amarinder Singh had held a meeting with the Police Commissioner and Commissioner, in addition to other senior officers, on Monday morning, asking them to remain vigilant, especially because the independence day approached.
DGP said in the past two-three months, there has been an increase in drone activity on the border of Pakistan.
