SRNAGAR: The governmental issues committee (PAC) — that the maximum decision making body of this PDP — about Sunday authorised celebration president Mehbooba Mufti to have a call to the invite of the Centre to mainstream political parties of both Jammu and Kashmir for conversations.
The decision was taken following a two-hour-long assembly of the PAC that was chaired by Mehbooba in her’Fairview’ home in Gupkar region of town .
The meeting had been called to have a call about the party’s involvement in the meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at New Delhi on June 24.
“The PAC unanimously authorised the party president take a last decision on the subject,” PDP main spokesperson Syed Suhail Bukhari told reporters out Mehbooba’s home after the assembly.
Bukhari reported a meeting of the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) will occur on Tuesday in which the penis parties will examine the matter and a last decision will be taken on whether to engage or not at the assembly called by the Prime Minister.
“After two weeks, the PAGD will be assembly, this problem is going to likely be discussed.
The members of this alliance will offer their proposals along with also a conclusion on the way ahead will be accepted there and later, a determination will be taken on the involvement of the interview,” he explained.
Before, the PAC Including celebration leaders Abdul Rehman Veeri, Mohammad Sartaj Madni, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Mehboob Beg, Naeem Akhtar, Surinder Choudhary, Yashpal Sharma, Master Tassaduq Hussain, Sofi Abdul Gaffar, Nizam-ud-Din Bhat, Aasiya Naqash, Firdous Ahmad Tak, plus Muhammad Yusuf Bhat fulfilled at Mehbooba’s home.
Madni was discharged from a six-month-long preventative detention on Saturday, hours later Mehbooba obtained the invitation on the telephone for its assembly.
Even though Veeri was present in the assembly at Gupkar alongside the PDP main spokesperson Bukhari, the others combined the deliberations nearly.
Even the PM’s meeting with political parties in Jammu and Kashmir is a part of their Centre’s attempts to strengthen political procedures, such as holding elections, at the union territory.
Invitations were sent from 14 governmental leaders in Jammu and Kashmir, involving four former chief ministers, for involvement in a high school assembly to be chaired by the prime minister, that can be anticipated to place the road map for holding assembly elections at the UT.
