Hyderabad: Three drug vendors suspected of having 42GM from the prohibited MDMA (ecstasy) worth more than RS 2 Lakh were arrested by Cyberabad police near Hitech City Railway Station on Tuesday.
Police Cyberabad said that they arrested Rasheed Ali, Yasin Khan and IFTHEKAR Ahmed when they supplied MDMA from Mumbai to Hyderi.
On November 12, the police had arrested Mohammed bin Hassan, a broker and resident of Charminar, and K Rakesh, a professional software from Lakdikapul, in Madhapur because they had 3GM MDMA.
Based on their confession of the role of three people, who supplied drugs to them, the police tracked them and arrested them at the Hitech City Railway Station.
Police confiscated 45 GM MDMA, four cellphones, cars and ₹ 16,000 of their ownership.
One Raju Bhai from Mumbai reported sending the drug to Hyderabad through Yasin Khan.
“We found that Mohammed bin Hassan was addicted to drugs and he often visited Mumbai to buy narcotics from ifthekar,” said Police Commissioner Cyberabad Stephen Raveendra.
In February, IFTHEKAR and Salman were arrested by police Nampally for violations of the NDPS law.
A month later, they came out with a guarantee.
