Peer UK condemns India to ‘Block’ FCRA licenses from Teresa and other NGO charities

LONDON: Meriah slams India at the House of Lords on Thursday because it does not renew the foreign funding license from nearly 6,000 organizations, including charity established by Mother Teresa, and called for Britain to reverse decisions.
The debate also occurred from oral questions by Lord Harries from Pentregarth who asked what the representation was carried out by the government in the UK to Delhi about “the blocking of foreign funds for charity missionaries and other NGOs”.
Colleagues marched to ask what England did to try to have these funds blocked, with one, Lord Foulkes from Cumnock, suggested England must get multilateral groups such as the Commonwealth Ecretariat involved because “sometimes multilateral organizations can be better than getting a lecture from English”.
Lord Alton of Liverpool warns that there will be terrible consequences for the most vulnerable Indians except this “Inquiulase Decision” is reversed.
“The work of the mother of Teresa and charity he founded, charity missionaries, are well-known throughout the world.
What the Indian government might have because they want to deter and block their work,” Pentregarth asked.
“The rumor is a sustainable pressure of Hindu nationalism because people may come into contact with Christianity and eventually enter it.
We need to know from the Indian government in writing what their reasons so we can check the validity of their reasoning.” Lord Bruce from Bennachie said indigenous peoples and the government in India did not reach many of the poorest people and asked the British government to ask Delhi to “explain how the people would be contacted if the agent served them withdrawn”.
Nearly 6,000 organizations lose their FCRA license on January 1, well because they failed to update them or their application was rejected.
On December 25, MHA refused to renew the FCRA registration from charity missionaries.
Lord Ahmad from Wimbledon, the Minister of South Asia, representing the British government, said England increased these problems constructively with the Indian High Commission in London, and the Indian government directly, and he asked for more information so he could analyze the reason why this license It has been revoked “to allow us to make a more quality representation”.
The Indian High Commission in London said in the statement would not “like to comment on the discussion between Hon’ble members of the British Parliament”.
“It seems that it is necessary to repeat that this is a routine processing problem by the Ministry of India – the update application for FCRA approval submitted by thousands of India-based entities, including charity missionaries.
Facts will explain that there is no single community, religion or funding source Specifically ‘targeted’ or any account frozen by the Indian government.
All of these applications for the FCRA license renewal have been processed according to established procedures, “said the statement.
