Salem: Salem City Police and Districts have registered cases of AIDMK officials and cadres, including opposition leaders and coordinators with the Edappadi K Party Palaniswami, for a demonstration against the DMK government in Tamil Nadu without permission from the Police Department.
Police officials said that they had registered a case against more than 7,000 AIDMK members.
AIADMK officials were involved in the demonstrations of the countries on Wednesday urged the DMK government to meet the Jamian of his earliest polls.
AIADMK did not get permission from the police department for demonstrations.
“We have registered cases against them for violating the command of the state of the state government,” police officials said.
The police also registered cases against MLA from Salem South, Omalur, Tertur, Gangavalli, Sankari and Veerapandi.
