Sao Paulo: Pele has been transferred from intensive care and into the public room after Brazilian football is great undergoing surgery to remove the tumor in his large intestine, Sao Paulo’s Albert Einstein Hospital said on Tuesday.
The hospital was added in a statement that the 80-year-old child was in a good clinical condition.
The winner of the World Cup three times, Pele was hospitalized earlier this month after the tumor in the large intestine was found during the routine test.
Tumors are removed and sent for analysis.
Pele has suffered hip problems for years and cannot walk without help.
His public appearance had been cut before the Covid-19 pandemic and since then he has made some unnecessary browsers outside his home near Santos.
