Nagpur: Pending by 18 months, the City Revision Development Plan (DP) will be prepared according to the new Guidelines for the State Government and including the Hudeshwar and Narsala regions.
This becomes possible because of the delay to complete the revised DP.
Commissioner of the city of Radhakrishnan B told TII, “direction has been given to private agencies to learn and submit land use (ELU) in accordance with the new government guidelines, and include Hudeshwar and Narsala regions.
DP Cell has also started the supervision of elu prepared and submitted By a private agent.
“The Civic body has appointed Monarch Surveyors and Pune Engineering Consultants Pune PVT Ltd to prepare for the Elu, which is the first step for revised DP preparation, in 2018, and it handed Elu in 2018.
Elu showed the land provided for various needs and status, existing traffic and vehicle situation, water body, length and width of the road, vacant land, open space, greenery etc.
DP revisions are scheduled for implementation in January 2020.
The government appoints seven staff in 2019 cells for ELU supervision.
Radhakrishnan said, “Supervision and other processes cannot occur due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Now, we do it in the top priority.” Radhakrishnan added, “Now, we benefit from new government guidelines for the DP which is implemented in 2019.
This will help Planning City’s growth for the next 20 years, taking care of modern needs such as greenery and facilities.
Also, dp will now be digital and easily accessible.

Hudkeshwar and Narsala were added to the city limit in May 2013, increasing the city area to 227.37 square kilometers, but Elu excluded them.
Radhakrishnan has put it in the revised DP.
After supervision, the NMC will display a proposal before the general body to approve ELU.
Then, prepare the draft of the proposed land use (plu), followed by suggestions and objections from the people, and then final approval by the General Agency and the Government.
The Civic body will take another year for all this.
Architect Virendra Khare said, “The city and people face serious discomfort due to delays in DP.
