Gurgaon: a group of home buyers, as well as the next resident of Indian Vatika, held a protest against the developer on Monday.
While home buyers accuse the delay in having a flat, residents complain about the lack of facilities in the city of 700 hectares spread in sector 82, 82A, 83, 84 and 85.
Last year, the city and state planning department canceled a license to project the non-payment of external development costs .
At least 50 protesters marched from Sapphire Mall to the city center of Vatika under the banner of the senior citizen association, holding placards and shouting slogans against the developer.
The protesters, who are also residents, accused the developer did not provide promised facilities such as clubhouse, community centers, religious places, CCTV cameras, cremation reasons, etc.

“For the past 10-12 years, we suffer but even after complaints, there is no action taken.
Now, we have no choice but to come out on the streets and raise our voices against the developer.” When contacted, spokesman Vatika Ltd said, “Our senior official met with a representative of senior citizens a few weeks ago and discussed and updates it at all points referred.”
