Lucknow: Head of the Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said States considered his party as an alternative to BJP and in this assembly poll, they would remove the Safron Party.
He also alleged that BJP had betrayed farmers and youth, while the price of diesel, gasoline and fertilizer had improved manifolds during the regime.
“Countries consider the Samajwadi Party (SP) as an alternative to BJP and this time, they will delete them in the assembly polls and form the SP government,” said Yadav while overcoming party workers at SP headquarters here.
According to the statement, he also promised that if you choose power, SP will provide 300 free electricity units, free laptops for youth and make arrangements for free irrigation for farmers.
“The party moves forward taking all the shared parts and has formed an alliance with regional parties.
This time the old problem will not succeed.
SP trains its workers over the past few years on how to advance the government and The SP future plans for the people’s interests, “The former Main Minister said.
SP was defeated by the BJP in the last assembly poll in 2017.
BJP has betrayed farmers and youth, said Yadav, adding that diesel prices, gasoline and fertilizers have improved manifolds.
“Contrary to the promise of BJP, the income of farmers is now half and the price increase has multiplied.
The BJP leaders have never taken the problem of youth and farmers.
Three agricultural laws were taken to the ruins of farmers, which were labeled as terrorists,” he added.
The law, which was enacted by 2020, triggered more than a year of protest at the Delhi border by farmers, especially from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana.
Agitation was summoned after the central government revoked laws in last year’s parliament and agreed to meet their other demands like those who had minimum support prices.
Yadav said that all promises and BJP advertisements were “blatant lies” and confirmed that his party always provided honor for women and initiated many schemes for their well-being.
Polling Uttar Pradesh will be held in seven phases – on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, March 3 and 7.
The results will be stated on March 10 along with four other polls from Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur.
