Coimbatore: NGO warnings have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PSG Hospital on Saturday to create awareness about medical emergency response among Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode and Salem.
According to the MoU, PSG Hospital will collaborate by vigilant to empower people from all levels of society – from police personnel to company employees, shop owners, car drivers and homem – in emergency response management.
The PSG group group will also benefit from the MoU, which was signed in front of the district collector G S Sekyanan and Commissioner of Police Deepak Damor on the occasion of ‘Restarting Heart Day’ to increase awareness of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
PSG Hospital will also act as an external assessor and shared certification of the training program.
In addition, Waspada and Rosmital PSG will take together curriculum research in emergency response management.
V M Muralidharan, Chairperson, Waspada, said the former president who was late in A P J J Abdul Kalam had imagined a person’s training in every family in an emergency response.
“We try to realize his dream.” L Gopalakrishnan, managing the trustee, a group of PSG institutions, said fast medical attention can save people’s lives in an emergency such as an accident, a heart attack or stroke.
“About 75% of deaths can be avoided in such situations if they get first aid in the first hour.
The good news is that first aid and medical responses can be done by anyone with proper training.
The training program is designed exclusively to meet the needs of the general public to become the first respondent.
