Patna: Bappa finally arrived to bless his worshipers with good health, love, and prosperity.
On the first day of Ganesh Chaturthi on Friday, Priest Prashant Jahagirdar exclusively came from Sangli, Maharashtra to do rituals in the city.
The program at Maharashtra Mandal on the path of Daroga Rai begins with an installation of Lord Ganesha’s idol in the middle of the charming song.
It was followed by the ceremonial adoration of Ganesha by dedicating flowers, blew the conch shell and the usual ‘Vandana’ Ganesh.
“I am blessed to get the opportunity to lead ‘aarti’ and ‘Vandana’ from Lord Ganesha this time.
This festival gives us a sense of purity,” Malikarjun Shivmurti said, Maharashtra Mandal member.
“Pentury of worshipers was bad on the 1st day because of the fear of Covid.
It is expected that the number of visitors will increase for the next two-three days.

Various types of candy are offered to Ganesha on Friday.
Special craftsmen have come from Kolkata for that purpose.
Also, special flowers are brought from kolkata every day for worship and makeup.
