People who are dying from the Delta variant a ‘tragedy’ given a vaccine, said Biden

New Delhi: US President Joe Biden on Friday said the people who were dying from the Delta variant which was very transmitted was “tragedy” considering the availability of the Covid-19 vaccine.
“Today, around 400 people will die because of the Delta variant in this country,” said Biden during the address of the White House.
“A tragedy because almost all of these deaths can be prevented if people get vaccinations.” The president confirmed that “this is a pandemic from being not vaccinated,” and urged Americans to be affixed to the Coronavirus.
Although Covid-19 death has been cut by 90 percent over the past seven months, he added that “the case will rise before they return.” Biden further said that US schools have resources to be reopened safely.
He urged the public to wear a mask where it was recommended, adding that “America can defeat the Delta variant.”
