Kochi: The central government states in the Kerala High Court that those who have received two covid vaccine doses cannot be re-vaccinated.
This statement was made during the petition hearing by a native Kannur who had received two covaxin doses but wanted to be canceled with a covishield now, because Covaxin was not approved in Saudi Arabia where he had his job.
The central government further states that “someone who receives more than two vaccines is more likely to have health problems.
At present there is no provision to provide more than two doses of vaccines per person.
There are no international guidelines for managing the third dose of vaccines.
Taking overdose vaccines can cause Health problems.
There is no other study that has been done in this matter.
The applicant’s claim cannot be considered in this case.
If we consider this request, more people tend to approach the court with a similar request.
“Girikumar, 50, filed a petition that stated that Covaxin was not recognized in Saudi Arabia and according to his visa provisions, he had to return to Saudi Arabia before August 30, or he would lose his job.
According to the petition, he returned to India because of the second wave of Covid in Saudi Arabia in January and when the center provides a vaccine for people above 45, he enrolled in the Cowin portal using his passport details.
