Patna: President of the Madan State Congress Mohan Jha said here on Tuesday that the party will distribute a copy of the document – “Travel 16 years: from decentralization for destruction” -prepared by the wing of his research on the Panchayati Raj system in villages throughout the state.
Launching documents at Sadaquat Ashram, the head of the State Congress said the concept of “swarajya” was still not fulfilled.
As a result, representatives of the Pancayati agency Raj felt cheated and sad.
Taking Swipe to NDA which is in power both in the state and in the center, the Head of the BPCC said the petelling government had worked on the centralization of power installation.
“The final destination of Mahatma Gandhi and former PM late Rajiv Gandhi behind the Pancayati system Raj to empower villages is still not fulfilled,” he added.
Speaking on that occasion, the former Minister of Union and Rajya Sabha MP Akhilesh Prasad Singh urged party workers to match the village to take part in the upcoming election to the Pancayati Agency Raj in the state.
He alleged that in most cases, decisions taken by the power in Delhi or in Patna pushed in representatives of Raj Pancayati institutions.
“Decisions that affect certain parts or classes must be taken by itself.
But the current situation is the opposite,” he urged.
Previously welcomed the guests on the occasion, the chairman of the research wing of the Madhav Party Anand said that he had tried to show in the document about how the institution had been destroyed in the name of decentralization of power for 16 years of ruling.
Deciphering it further, Madhav said that the concept of ‘sushasan’ without ‘swashasan’ was mistaken.
He also asked questions for the use of EVMS in Pancayat polls in the state to choose representatives only at four posts.
He also expressed doubts for the use of VVPat in the polling booth in the Pancrayat poll.
Speaking on that occasion, MLC Prem Congress Chandra Mishra expressed his concern over the weakening of the Raj Pancayati system in the state.
Although Bihar Pancayati Raj (Amandment) ACT 1992 empowers Panchayats to develop policies for social and economic development, the same thing has never been delegated to them, he accused.
Former Legislator Rishi Mishra, former MLC Lal Babu Lal, Nagendra Kumar Valik and Prof.
Shashi Kumar Singh stand out among others who were on that occasion.
