Permission of the building: VMC claims its coffers are getting richer

Vadodara: While a large line may have been obtained about slow progress in building permits, Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) data revealed that income from charges gathered to give permission to rise.
Needing to processing building permits is one of the problems discussed during the Realtors meeting with VMC Top Brass.
After the meeting, VMC officials have produced data on building permits that revealed that there had been a collection of collections because these costs were carried out in 2018-19.
The only exception was last year when income fell slightly due to a pandemic.
It is up to 2018-19 VMC receiving RS 188.48 is the cost of building construction permits.
In 2019-20, the number of Rs 192.96 Crore and Rs 179.77crore at 2020-21.
This year, the Civic Agency has muddled RS 284Crore towards the allegations and the number will only increase until March 31.
VMC is trying to make a case that concerns about building permits is done.
If officials postpone things, the collection of charges for the permit will not increase.
This line has been hit after a post by President Credai Vadodara Maya Patel.
He stated that development in the city had stopped because of officials.
