‘Permit gyms to Start’: Owners to protest at 30 chowks of Town

Ludhiana: Facing monetary catastrophe, health club owners have requested the government to permit them to open up their centers.
Lately, a 38-year-old fitness center proprietor of Ludhiana had committed suicide because the lockdown had left him bankrupt.
A couple of days before, another fitness center owner had tried suicide.
On Monday, Gym Ekta Welfare Association, Ludhiana, fulfilled further deputy commissioner Amarjeet Singh Bains and filed a memorandum, looking for permission to open health spas.
To make themselves noticed, the institution plans to stage a protest in 30 chowks of town on Wednesday.
Amarjot Singh, general secretary of the association, stated,”There are approximately 500 health clubs in Ludhiana and above 90 percent of these are on lease properties.
Using a decrease in Covid-19 instances, the government has permitted non-essential stores to start.

ADC Bains said that the government would forward the memorandum to the authorities.
Deputy commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma stated,”Salons and parlours have been permitted to open.
According to the principles of this state authorities, spas swimming pools and swimming pools, and amongst others, are banned from launching, perhaps not parlours / salons.
But, we’ll send the fitness center institution’s memorandum to the state authorities.”
