Ahmedabad: Anandnagar police have taken a very serious drive drive.
The police on Saturday night scratched the house at the Prernateerth Bungalows Society in the area and found eight bottles of liquor in possession of a 53-year-old man who had liquor permits.
According to the Anandnagar police officer, they got input that a 53-year-old man had kept a bottle of imported liquor at his home in the Prernateerth Bungalows Society.
A team consisting of four policemen rushed home, wiped into and found a man at home.
Acting on the input, the police went to the first floor of the house where they found the in-house bar in a room.
The police inspected a glass cabinet and found eight bottles of liquor worth Rs 31,000.
When the police asked him about bottle of liquor, he told the police that he had permission to look after them.
The police did not accept permission and demanded the person under the ban on the ban.
Police Police Anandnagar said, “The defendant thought he could take care of any liquor because he had permission.”
