Kanpur: A 30-year-old married woman allegedly caught up to approach the police after being persecuted by a village man in the Kulpahar police area in Mahaga District on Sunday.
The woman was hospitalized in Jhansi in a serious condition while the defendant was detained.

The police said that married women, a village resident under the police station Kulpahar, worked as a laborer in Gujarat.
The woman lives in the village with her in-laws and three children.
The father-in-law’s father who married was told the police that his neighbor Vipin used to work with his son in Gujarat.
A few days ago, the defendant had returned from Gujarat.
He persecuted his son-in-law on Saturday.

Simultaneously, a case was registered against the defendant by providing complaints in Kotwali.
On Sunday, Kotwali police took Vipin’s allegations to detention.
While married women were home around midday, Vipin’s relatives broke into the woman’s house, pouring kerosene to her and burned it.
When he heard the woman’s scream, my mother-in-law and father-in-law poured water on him.
With the help of several neighbors, the woman was taken to the hospital in Kulpahar.
When his condition deteriorated, he rushed to the hospital in Mahoba, from where he was referred to Jhansi, police said.
Officials said the spread of severe police was made in the village to avoid unwanted situations.
