Five: Peru appointed an environmental activist as Prime Minister Wednesday, replacing a controversial left-wing figure in a country full of South American political turmoil.
The current left-wing leader of the current country Pedro Castillo in July faced a long to-do list, including constitutional reform, but struggled to get his cabinet approved and narrowly stored political collapse earlier this year.
He did not give a reason for his decision to remove Guido Bellido – a left-line left and political politics, whose appointment was controversial from the start – and replaced him with Mirtha Vasquez.
A few hours later, Castillo appointed environmental activists and human rights as new PM, the step was seen as a soup for moderate wings from the informal left wing coalition that supported him.
“For God, because this country is from women and men who fight every day to live with dignity, without discrimination, and who promote real changes, yes, I swear!” Vasquez, 46, said during a ceremony that was not attended by his predecessor.
According to Peru’s law, the resignation of the Prime Minister automatically triggered that from the entire cabinet.

He then tweeted, “The new stage in #GobInTodelPueblo tries to promote dialogue, governance and teamwork.
Our big goal is to fight for the most vulnerable and we will achieve it.” July Castillo Appointment of Bellido Electronic Engineers immediately complicated.
