NEW DELHI: A variety of petitions are filed before the Supreme Court trying to initiate contempt of court proceedings against Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor Shaktikant Das, Chief Executive of Indian Banks Association (IBA) and many others for allegedly flouting that the SC’s prior arrangement, by turning along declaring the accounts of these petitioners as Non Performing Assets (NPA) in relation to the moratorium issue.
The petitioners – based M/s Azeez Trading Company, Umrazz Trading Corporation, Ajay Hotel and Restaurant, Latur, Maharashtra — have registered their own plea through attorney Vishal Tiwari and Advocate On Record (AOR) Abhigya.
The respondents said, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor, Shaktikant Das, Chief Executive of Indian Banks Association (IBA) were also duty-bound into promulgate and confirm the compliance of this order of the court through the nation however they intentionally failed to, the request stated.
