Petrol Premium at Rs 160 per liter?

Even when demand for high octane gasoline rises at the price of shooting fuel; It claims premium class fuel to offer a better mileage and good speed

Four fuel stations in the city sell this ‘expensive’ fuel, XP-100, which is currently sold with Rs 160 per liter.
While one liter of normal gasoline (octane 87) is being sold for Rs 103 per liter in the city, a fuel bed owner told Bangalore Mirror, “We saw requests for XP-100 gasoline from the owner of the car and the upscale bicycle.

“The bed owner said that the fuel supplied from the Mathura Corporation Mati (IOC) to Devangonthi (near Kadugodi) and from there, he was supplied to the bed each.

According to the Indian Oil website, “XP-100 is the only eighth rating octane fuel that improves vehicle performance, especially luxury cars and bicycles.
It is produced with high octane gasoline produced by Octamax, technology developed accidentally.”
There are four types of gasoline octane class available on the market – 87 (which are ordinary), 89, 91-94 and now 100.
The oil company claims that it will increase engine power with faster acceleration and that it increases fuel savings.

IOC officials claim that octane xp-100 ranks exceeds the standard bus and ensures superior fuel combustion on the machine compared to gasoline suggested by the bus.
Santosh Madhukar, a biker said, “Until now, we used to go for 91 octane fuel but now we try to 100 octane.
Although it is very expensive, it provides a good distance and speed.
Many bikers now advise friends to use fuel class Upon.
The only problem is that some city pumps now offer this.
