Nablus: The new animal clinic has been opened in the occupied West Bank, part of a growing tendency between Palestine to maintain and pamper pets.
Veterinarian Ahmed Ahmed Al-Amad’s “Royal Care Vet Clinic”, in the city of Nablus, is one of the few facilities in the Palestinian area which offers care services for cats, dogs and other animals, and riding their owners.
Pet ownership has become more common in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in recent years, where some Palestinian supermarkets have now pointed part for animal food and accessories.
“We started the project after demanding high services on the market,” Amad said.
“This is a personal project.
Even so, we are ready to accept wild animals that need medical services.” In the Gaza Strip, Palestine is increasingly turning to domestic pets for convenience in conflicts that often occur between militants and Israeli forces, and dog owners who run are now a common sight.
