PG Medicos from TVM Boycott non-emergency services

Written by news2in

Thiruvananthapuram: The Thiruvananthapuram Medical Medical Student Medical College Cover continued with their strike by boycotting all non-emergency services on Wednesday.
Although the State Unit Association of Post Medical Kerala graduates (KMPGA) has made a strike after a discussion with the Health Minister Veena George on Tuesday, the ThiruvananthaThapuram unit association continued the strike.
“Four months ago the Minister of Health had talks with the association and had provided the promises to our demands.
The decision of this meeting was recorded even in minutes.
But it remained on paper.
Therefore, we need concrete orders from the government about this.
Until then, We will continue the strike, “said Dr.
Ajithra, president of the Thiruvananthapuram unit KMPGA.
If the government is not ready to come out with orders in one or two days, then we will be forced to boycott emergency services too, he added.
However, the Association State Committee has explained that they will continue strikes, boycotting all emergency services, if government orders are not released in two days.
“After the discussion, the government approved our main demand for the appointment of non-academic junior and assured that all the basics will be completed in a day, including the command of the detailed government.
Therefore, we understand each other to attract strikes,” said Dr.
R Naveen, Secretary of State KMPGA.
If government orders are not published on Thursday (with the number of recruiting non-academic junior population and remuneration), it will be considered a betrayal by the Ministry of Health, and we will advance with protests, he added.
